Here's what you need to know.
Types of membership
Every type of RAC member gets access to great member benefits, including savings with our retail partners. If you’ve got a Roadside Assistance or Rewards membership, you may also get discounted insurance, depending on how long you’ve been a member.*
Insurance
- You automatically become an RAC member when you purchase car, home, motorcycle, boat, caravan, pet or life Insurance cover.
- Enjoy member benefits, like savings on movie tickets, fuel, travel, and special offers.*
- To receive discount on insurance, you must have had a Roadside Assistance or Rewards membership for at least five years.
Roadside Assistance
- You automatically become an RAC member when you purchase Standard, Classic, Ultimate, Ultimate Plus, Wheels2go and free2go Roadside Assistance.
- Enjoy member benefits, like savings on movie tickets, fuel, travel and special offers.*
- You're eligible for a discount on some insurance products once you've had a Roadside Assistance membership for at least five years.

Rewards
- You can purchase Rewards membership for $29 a year

- This membership does not include RAC Roadside Assistance or insurance.
- You’re eligible for discount on insurance once you’ve had a Rewards membership for at least five years.
